UX Beginner Bootcamp
If you are looking to expand your skill set, knowledge and familiarity with User Experience and its processes – more widely known as UX – then this workshop is for you. Our UX Beginner Bootcamp provides a hands-on and comprehensive overview of UX processes used to create tailored experiences for software, digital and online products.
We will start off with “UX Design Kit” — a general overview presentation with worksheet handouts that covers UX best practices regarding project timelines, team roles and common tools used by many organizations.
- Various User Experience processes such as User Research (Personas, Journey Maps, and Card Sorting)
- Collaborative online tools that UX teams frequently (Optimal Workshop, Basecamp, Trello, Asana, Optimizely, and even Dropbox)
- UX design software such as Axure and Adobe’s new Experience Design (XD) application
- Accessibility, usability testing and conversion funnel optimization (A/B split tests)
The second part of our UX Bootcamp will be a hands-on, collaborative reframing workshop introducing participants to the (Alex F.) Osborn method. During this time, participants examine a sample contemporary mobile application “problem” and walk step-by-step through the Osborn method to solve it.
Prerequisites and requirements
- Laptop/Tablet Optional
- Any level of UX designer will find this workshop helpful and productive. All are welcome to attend.
- SPACE IS LIMITED, only 15 spots available.
