Benefiting Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire
An AIGA Orange County Design for Good Initiative

AIGA Orange County is partnering with 454 Creative to present a friendly pumpkin carving competition for local and regional creative professionals within the Orange County. It is a community-wide event that attracts the best creative talent in the area as well as the support of generous sponsors. The primary goal of the event is to unify the creative community in support of a worthy and meaningful charity, Make-A-Wish®.

This community building event and competition will take place on Monday, October 24 at the OC MIX and SOCO Collection in Costa Mesa. Local creatives will go head-to-head to see who has what it takes to carve the best pumpkin of the year. The pumpkins are judged by respected leaders in the design community and the event encourages strong community involvement and support by allowing community guests to attend, bid on creative one-of-a-kind pumpkins to take home, vote on a favorite pumpkin, and enjoy the festivities of a high-energy event.

GUTS is a platform to bring designers, community leaders and members together for a fun, pumpkin carving party while lifting spirits and granting wishes for the brave kids at Make-A-Wish®. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire to grant 20 additional wishes to children within our community. Each year there are 700 kids who medically qualify for wishes but only 300 are granted due to awareness and budget.
